Field Sales Engineer
Job Description:
You conduct in-depth discovery calls, deliver product demos to customers and participate in partner enablement activities. Whats next? We are hiring a Field Sales Engineer to support the Sage X3 product within our sage partner channel. Who will you be working with? Prospects, partners and internal teams at sage to drive revenue and expend the Sage X3 business.
Key Responsibilities:
Your day to day:
• You will provide technical support during the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations, answering technical questions, and assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations.
• You will work with prospects and partners to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives. Conduct detailed discovery sessions to gather requirements and align Sage X3 solutions with customer needs.
• You will collaborate with partners to enhance their knowledge and capabilities related to Sage X3. Provide training, resources, and ongoing support to ensure partners can effectively sell and implement Sage X3 solutions.
What we are looking for:
• 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role (preferably within the ERP software industry) Comparable industry experience will be considered (i.e. accounting or operations role within distribution or manufacturing industry)
• Experience conducting product demonstrations and managing technical evaluations.
• Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP solutions
• Experience supporting sales teams in a pre-sales capacity
