Lingo Staffing is Hiring for a Field Service Advisor in the Akron, OH area
Hours: 6:30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (weekend overtime available and mandatory); Advisors travel 80 to 90% of the time in the continental US.
Pay: $ $15 to $18 (regular increases during training, $22 once fully trained & on your own)
Position Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience on a construction site leading a crew of various sizes
• Experience dealing with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors and customers
• Domestic and international travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills sufficient for data entry, completing reports, working within ERP system and other applications as required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work well with others and effectively deal with individuals in a professional manner.
• Complete OSHA 30-hour safety training
• Ability to build customer relationships, resolve issues in a professional manner, and identify the need to escalate concerns when appropriate
Duties and Responsibilities:
Typical duties include but are not limited to the following:
? Responsible for jobsite safety; required to take proactive measures to address jobsite hazards, up to stopping work until conditions are abated.
? Instruct workforce and assign duties on SiteBilt installations and / or joining for factory units at customer location.
? Working advisor at the customer job site.
? Maintain an electronic daily log and create a daily written report; photos are to be included, if applicable. This will be provided to the Project Manager upon your return to Air Enterprises.
? Problem solving – assist at customer location, and with Engineering, regarding drawings, procedures, identifying problems ahead of time and offering sound solutions.
? Keep the Project Manager and Field Service Manager up-to-date.
? Provide start-up commissioning at customer location
? Provide functional confirmation, testing and repair at customer location
? Adhere to AE Field Travel Policy
? When working in the plant, perform all required work activities under the direction of shop foremen and group leaders.
? Other Duties as assigned

A new advisor would start out working in the shop to learn how our air handlers go together for 3 to 6 months ($15-18). Once they have enough experience, they will shadow another advisor in the field and then eventually they lead while the other advisor shadows for 3 to 6 months ($20). Once they are deemed ready to lead on their own they start with small jobs ($22). We are seeking candidates who have held the job title of: Field Service Advisor, Field Service, Field service tech
