About the Job
Job Purpose:
Provide technical liaison between the company and the customer in the maintenance and support of company products. Provide direct support to the customer in the development of engineering changes, engineering investigations, and during the installation of new equipment. Evaluate proposed changes to technical manuals and provide feedback and recommendations to the company and customers. Maintain a full set of test equipment to support customer requirements. Provide supply support to include assistance in resolving spare part shortages.
Key Accountabilities:
- Serve as the company point of contact between the company and customer, including individual operating units.
- Provide technical support on both seats and seat test equipment.
- Provide technical support for change development, failure investigations, and installation activities.
- Keep the company informed on potential issues from the customer concerning product performance.
- As directed, maintain, and distribute spare parts for seats and seat test equipment.
- Coordinate efforts with technical and customer personnel to resolve issues.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Required: Position requires a minimum of four years military experience in the support and maintenance of ejection seats and knowledge of Martin-Baker Aircraft Company history and products, or minimum four years' experience in aircraft maintenance.
Desired: Six plus years' experience to include supervisory positions. Detailed knowledge of MBA/MBAI products, practices, policies and procedures.
