WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
- Troubleshooting highâ€end medical imaging systems and equipment
- Investigating and repairing issues with medical imaging applications, electrical components, computer hardware, and software, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Provide support for software issues associated with systems
- Provide support for system relocations, installations and de-installations, including ramp down, reinstallation, ramp up and calibration
- Provide exceptional interaction with radiologists, technicians and physicians to keep them aware of new and existing imaging solutions, manufacturer safety alerts and updates
- Provide medical imaging equipment technical support via web and telephone
- Perform imaging system inspections, system preventative maintenance, calibrations and quality assurance checks utilizing ISO 13485 Quality and industry standards
- Support end-users by conducting training programs and providing software support
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- AS/AA degree in Electronic Engineering / Electromechanical preferred, Computer Science or BioMed or equivalent Military training
- Minimum of 5-8 years of Field Service Experience
- Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers
- Ability to perform administrative/computer work, accurately and in a timely manner
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, deinstallations and/or installations
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Forklift certification is a plus
