Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Lynchburg, VA (Open to remote locations near airport)
Shift: Primarily travel role
Compensation: $32/hr - $40/hr + Service Bonuses and annual bonus opportunities + Company credit card (All travel expenses paid for by company) [Paid door to door]

Travel: 75%+; Typical trips are four weeks out, one week home.
Position Description:
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the field work support implementation of PLC-based Control Systems. They install and maintain all electrical and electronic plant and production equipment. This equipment includes motors, electrical/electronic controls and systems, PLCs, AC/DC drives, computerized controls, and other related equipment. The FST will perform preventive/predictive maintenance on plant and production electrical and electronic equipment as well as general mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance and installations as needed.
Requirements:
A candidate for this role needs to have a mechanical-electrical background. They should be able to work independently after training and be flexible and open minded to receiving training. PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus, however is a trainable role with the electro-mechanical background. Excellent opportunity for a Naval MM, ET, or EM.
