Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years experience in the critical power industry
- Ability to troubleshoot down to component level on UPS, batteries, PDUs, STS, etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-level customer service skills
- Proficiency in completing Field Service Reports
- Knowledge of equipment manufacturers specifications
- Ability to work independently and resourcefully
- Physical capability to perform repeated bending and lifting up to 100lbs
- Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary
- UPS OEM factory training or experience in Lieber/ Emerson/Vertiv, APC/ MGE/ Schneider, or Eaton/Powerware
- Technical degree
- Previous 3rd Party UPS experience
- Previous military experience and training
- Knowledge of general computer hardware and software applications
