**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Sumner, WA) **We offer Relocation, Sign On Bonus, Competitive Pay and Benefits!** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: · Completing repair activities on generators or components · Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner · Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools · Maintain detailed records of service · Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies · Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products · Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: · Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. · High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. · Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. **(Entry):** · Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. · Basic Diesel Engine experience. · Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. **(Intermediate)** · Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. · Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch. · Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation. **(Advanced):** · Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. · Understanding switchgear schematics. · Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. **QUALIFICATIONS** **This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.** + A current valid license is required for this role + This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations + This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical + 3 years driving experience + This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use + Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age. **Compensation and Benefits Base** salary rate commensurate with experience.
