Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Representative (California) to join our YGC team in a field position. The Field Service Representative maintains golf cars and golf course relationships. They will perform warranty and billable work as needed, manage billing and reporting, maintain service truck inventory, and plan business routes, monitoring Golf Fleets, maintaining car condition, as well as reporting problems as they arise using correct communication tools and channels. Assist Golf Dealers in Market as needed.

Pay:
$48,340 to $79,770
Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha's Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.

What you'll be doing:
- Promptly and professionally respond to service calls at golf courses utilizing an automated scheduling system, providing hands on service and customer support following proper Golf Course rules and etiquette.
- Complete all service documentation to include work orders, golf car audit reports, battery discharge reports, parts orders, market information reports etc. Effectively report (verbal, digital, and written) progress and recommendations to management, sales and customer.
- Effectively manage Service Truck and Storage location, tracking inventory and sales with provided tools and channels. Efficiently and accurately order, receive ship and audit service truck parts inventory.
- Safely operate company vehicles and follow all company policies pertaining to their use and maintenance of the vehicles. Maintain work area, service truck and storage facility in a safe, clean and orderly condition at all times.
- Provide training and assistance to golf course customers and Yamaha sales and service personnel staff in system usage, and technical service techniques required to manage fleet service.
- Assist Golf Car dealers as needed in the market with service problems and general knowledge. Working with Customers as required.
- Assist new and used car sales departments as assigned.
- Attend and support company activities & assist other service territories as required.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude & 5+ years of engine and vehicle repair experience required with dealership experience a plus.
- Formal technical training in the repair of power sports product a plus.
- Ability to travel 100% visiting accounts to perform duties, working extended hours as required.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to obtain a company issued or personal credit card for use in travel-related expenses.
