Bell is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) candidate to support the CMV-22 Program at NAS North Island, San Diego, Ca.
The Field Service Representative will provide support in the operation and maintenance of all systems of the US Navy CMV-22 Osprey aircraft to include avionics, electrical, airframe, drive systems, engine controls, hydraulics, flight controls, and fuel systems. This position requires experience and technical expertise on military aircraft products operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Field Service Representative candidate will have a strong background in V-22 avionics and electrical systems.
What you’ll be doing as Field Service Representative:
+ This position requires experience and technical expertise on MV-22/CV-22/CMV-22 Tilt Rotor aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting and operations.
+ Candidate will provide on-site company representation and technical support to military customers and initiate corrective actions for maintenance and logistical issues.
+ The knowledge, skills, and abilities required to support the operation, installation, modification, maintenance, fault isolation, and maintainer training of the V-22 weapons system and subsystems.
+ Candidate should be able to communicate effectively within the Naval Aviation Enterprise, and Bell-Textron, for technical and administrative issues.
+ Utilize technical expertise and product knowledge to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the CMV-22 aircraft. By providing on-the-job, classroom maintenance training, provide logistics and technical assistance to maintainers.
+ Required to assist NAVAIR and Bell/Boeing service engineers with investigations, developing and implementing corrective actions.
+ Applicant will be required to develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations, and with all levels of the military customer and the Bell Boeing team, to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services.
+ It is critical that this candidate will thoroughly comprehend the process of how problems and solutions are reported when systems/components fail on aircraft.
+ Travel with the squadron to off-site locations to include overseas will be required. Travel will include deployments at sea and, shore based.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role :
+ Minimum 3 years’ experience in military/civilian aviation, with extensive hands-on V-22 support experience within the Marines Corps, Air Force, Navy, or Bell/Boeing organizations.
+ Will be required to deploy in support of the US Navy Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) mission, both afloat and ashore
+ Excellent knowledge of V-22 aircraft systems and naval aircraft maintenance procedures are required.
+ Extensive maintenance experience with military and/or commercial rotorcraft systems and FAA A&P certification
+ Personal computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications is required. Excellent oral and writing skills are required.
+ Required to assist maintenance personnel with technical assistance within the FSR scope utilizing applicable technical publications and referring more complex issues and, with creating detail and accurate Technical Assistance Requests (TAR), to reduce the turnaround time of these request within the Virtual Technical Assistance & Maintenance Program (VTAMP).
+ Required to access multiple government technical databases, for conducting daily duties.
+ Excellent technical researching skills, utilizing multiple approved sources, for providing technically accurate solutions to the customer as required.
+ Provide detailed technical reports, for both resolved and unresolved aircraft technical issues as required, at minimum weekly.
+ Required to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance.
+ Required to communicate with maintenance personnel and aircrew, technical issues to aid to expediate solutions.
+ Extensive knowledge of the V-22 Collaborative Automated maintenance Environment Optimized (CAMEO) system.
+ Review post flight performance data to identify negative trends and determine root cause of system failures.
+ Required to deploy in support of the US Navy Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) mission, both afloat and ashore.
What you need to be successful:
+ Prior Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) experience, in any off the of V-22 major systems maintenance; Avionics, Airframes, Mechanical systems, V-22 Avionics QAR experience is highly preferred.
+ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) A&P Certification preferred. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
+ Working knowledge of reviewing post flight data, within the CAMEO ground station.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field with maintenance experience on military and/or commercial rotorcraft systems.
+ Candidates without college may be considered, if additional extensive aircraft maintenance experience with military and/or commercial rotorcraft systems is adequate.
