$21.00/Hour
Reimbursement for food while traveling
Hotel arranged and paid for by company
Work Schedule: 8-5
Typically Monday – Friday (8 hour days) with some occasional Saturdays
A four-day work week (10 hour days) is possible if field production dictates
Weekends and some holidays off
Contract can be extended up to 24 months.
Description:
"Pre-employment MVR required.
MVR run every 6 mos on active contingent workers.
These positions will be performing service work in the field to support local utilities. The role of a Field Service Support technician, primarily includes working outside in all-weather environments, capability of data collection on handheld tablet computers, be able to work efficiently with quality and most-importantly be able to professionally interact with local utility customers. All training, certifications, and equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Removal of low voltage electric switches from utility customers’ equipment.
Completing work orders from a handheld device.
Performing work safely and efficiently while working independently.
You Must Have
High School Diploma/ GED
You must meet MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) requirements which includes a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Willingness to occasionally travel.
Ability to work in all types of outdoor environments

Previous technical/installation experience
Previous customer service experience
Good written and oral communication
Ability to follow instructions
Some technical, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently
Ability to analyze and identify problems
Ability to operate a company vehicle and comply with company safe driving practices
A basic familiarity with mobile devices
Adhere to all Federal, State and Local driving requirements, company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
