Field Service Technician

Full Time Position with Generous Benefits Package

$75-85K first year

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, service, and repair electromechanical equipment at various locations.
• Utilizes hand tools and test equipment, such as multimeters, to perform work.
• Communicate technical issues with the Engineering Department.
• Field train customers.
• Performs in house phone  troubleshooting support to customers.
• Supports sales for product demonstrations.
• Provides a range of known solutions to problems.
• Innovates on the fly to resolve new and unique problems. 
• May need to provide after-hours phone support.
• Extensive nationwide travel required.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Performs other duties, as assigned by the manager. 
• Able to book own travel with credit card (reimbursed weekly). 
• Must live within 1 hour of a major airport.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Knowledge or experience of industrial mechanical systems preferred, but not necessary.
• Expertise in company-supplied machinery with extensive training provided.
• Requires travel up to 100% of the time, inclusive of consecutive overnights, between 10-14 days. 
• Ability to communicate problems accurately and propose effective solutions.
• Good organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
