Overview

Immediate Hiring Need for a 

Full Time Field Service Technician

Overview:

Maintains and repairs stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries by troubleshooting the cause of equipment malfunction, calibrating equipment to operating specifications, and install new units as required.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews job requirements and verifies that the required tools, equipment, parts, material, and manuals are part of the service vehicle inventory. 
• Troubleshoots the cause of equipment malfunction
• Train customers on preventative maintenance
• Disassembles, repairs and reassembles units as required. 
• Inspects and repairs boiler fittings such as safety valves, regulators, and automatic control mechanisms
• Replaces damaged boiler tubes and plates. 
• Repairs or replaces high-pressure piping. 
• Performs water pressure test

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum experience in related field

**Associates Degree or Military Experience preferred but not required**

• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds 
• Vision abilities required close vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
• Drive to reach the customers' facilities 
• May be required to spend several nights away from home in a hotel on occasion
• Available to be in a rotation for on call 24-7 to go to the customer’s facility
