Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician - Engine Mechanic
Location: Hartford, CT (N Connecticut)
Shift: M-F 8hr Day shift
Compensation: C-Tech $25/hr, B-Tech $35/hr, A-Tech $40/hr

Position Description:
Responsibilities include daily travel, in a company service vehicle, to dispersed customer locations.
--- Preventative engine maintenance and service, inclusive of basic oil and filter changes, and replacement of common tune-up components.
--- Major system repairs such as removal and installation of cylinder heads, and complete engines.
--- Engine diagnostic tests such as compression ratio, cylinder leak down, and exhaust emissions sampling.
--- Replacement of factory parts and components on our full line of products.
--- Troubleshooting of control systems using digital voltmeters, current clamp-on meters, and the diagnostic capabilities of company's embedded control systems.
Requirements:
--- Clean and valid driver's license (operates company supplied vehicle)
--- Lift and maneuver objects weighing more than 40 lbs
--- Ability to read and follow manuals, electrical, and mechanical diagrams
--- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
--- Motivation to become self-sufficient and educated on company products and troubleshooting techniques.
--- Ability to be flexible with changing daily priorities in a fast-paced environment
