Job Duties

- Service, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and kW sizes of generators
- Inspect, Repair, Service and Start-Up Load Bank Test Requirements on Equipment
- Troubleshoot all generator components including engine, alternator, controllers, wiring harnesses, safety devices, battery systems and cooling systems.
- Start-up and load bank test equipment
- Apply technical skills to identify the Problem and Cause of Failure through Logical Troubleshooting Steps, Determine Corrective Action
- Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo, among others
- Complete field service reports(FSR’s) daily.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Clear criminal and driving records
- Minimum of 3 years’ of experience working with industrial power generations sets or similar transferrable skills
- Experience with diesel and natural/LP gas engines, electrical switch gear, and automatic transfer switches
- Must have your own set of general tools
- Use of computers/mobile devices for web based service & work order system
- Must be physically able to lift 75lbs with no restrictions
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work with little supervision
- Strong written and verbal skills (English)
- Independent self-starter
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- OEM Training & Certification a Plus
- EGSA Certification a plus
