About the Job
Kavaliro has partnered with a government organization in Kissimmee, Florida seeking a Service Desk II.
The candidate must possess solid Microsoft Windows (Windows 10 and 7) skills (A+, Network +, and Microsoft certifications would be a plus); accompanied by a strong knowledge of client server; Active Directory (AD), and Microsoft Office products. The individual should also have experience installing/configuring various applications (i.e. SQL clients/tools, applications, tools, and VPN client). The candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting skills; and must be able to identify and fix software and hardware related problems quickly and efficiently. A strong knowledge of networking and TCP/IP is required for this position. Knowledge or certifications (Citrix or other) in virtual environments is a plus. They must also show flexibility by adapting to specific situation;

- Working independently
- Working special projects with little management intervention
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to various facilities required.
- Associates degree in relevant discipline desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Demonstrated skills and experience with a variety of computer hardware, operating systems, and software.
- Demonstrated skills and experience servicing and maintaining computer hardware.
- Knowledge of network devices (LAN-WAN-WIFI-VPN) as well as DNS and Active Directory required.
- Written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team or independently.
- Must be skilled in de-escalation and calmly walking the user through the problem-solving process.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software and network problems.
- Ability to install and configure software on a variety of platforms.
- Organizational skills including paper documentation, daily logs, scheduling, etc.
- Time management and prioritizing skills.
- Must be able to handle more than one project, job, task, and/or duty at one time.
- Must possess keen problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must be well organized with strong attention to detail.
- Computer related certifications highly desired.
