Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Field Service Technician. The location can be any US city near a major airport. The Technician will travel 100% of the time. This is a permanent job. Compensation is $40/hr + benefits.

Summary:
Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Field Service Technician performs equipment installations, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at client locations. This role ensures prompt and professional resolution of technical issues, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the service process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tools and Equipment Used:
General office equipment (computer, printer, telephone), as well as specialized test and measurement tools.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, and lifting/moving objects up to 70 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception and focus adjustments.
Mental Demands:
The role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, technical knowledge, and the ability to meet deadlines, interact with various teams, and resolve issues with customers.
Working Environment:
The work takes place primarily in manufacturing settings, which can be noisy. Approximately 90% travel is required domestically and internationally, with occasional office work.

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Field Service Technician performs equipment installations, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at client locations. This role ensures prompt and professional resolution of technical issues, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the service process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support sales staff by servicing technical equipment.
- Conduct installation of new equipment on customer premises.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and service on client equipment.
- Record all services performed and provide recommendations for future maintenance needs.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide demonstrations of equipment software as needed.
- Prepare timesheets, service reports, and installation forms accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track expenses meticulously and submit expense reports promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments as needed.
- Overtime may be required based on workload and client needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associates degree in a technical field or relevant military experience is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar technical role.
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer service position.
- Valid drivers license with a clean record.
- Prior experience with laser machinery (Trumpf, Amada, Mazak, etc.) is highly desirable.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet use.
- Familiarity with I/O structures for troubleshooting and experience with electrical/electronic testing equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and document technical data.
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong time management abilities and an independent, resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Bilingual in Italian is a plus, though not required.
