Bobcat of Houston is seeking Field Service Diesel Technicians! We offer competitive pay, over two weeks of paid time off after 60 days of employment, and numerous opportunities for advancement. Starting at $30/hr depending on experience plus bonus.
Responsibilities

Perform inspections required to determine cause of failure is done following established guidelines and are completed with the cause identified.

Responsible for the effective repair of machine components in the field, at high levels of quality.

Recondition and repair diesel equipment and components.

Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned.

Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs.

Perform the repairs in a safe and effective manner.

Ensure all repairs are completed as assigned and the cosmetic appearance are up to standards.

Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.

Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs.

Ensure all records are legible and in compliance with established methods.

Report all record keeping daily from the field, even when not returning daily to the company.

Maintain shop tools, equipment and vehicles.

Maintain personal appearance in a professional and neat condition. Wear all personal protective equipment, as required; and urges others to do so.

All communications with customers and co-workers are conducted in a manner reflecting respect and integrity.
Qualifications
-
3-5 years working as a diesel equipment technician.

Be able to work independently of direct supervision in a field environment.

Contribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the branch location, specifically with parts personnel and other service technicians.

Spanish speaking is valued.

A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred, high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Prior experience as a field service technician preferred.

Clean driving history.
