We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Field Service Biomed Technician with expertise in mobile fluoroscopy C-arms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various imaging and biomed equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime for our clients. This role requires a strong technical background in biomedical equipment, particularly in the field of medical imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and commission mobile fluoroscopy C-arm systems at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled service procedures on C-arm equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with C-arm systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and software.
- Conduct repairs and component replacements as needed to restore equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with other service technicians and biomedical engineers to resolve complex technical problems.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and clinical staff on the proper use and maintenance of C-arm equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in medical imaging equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Biomedical Technician, with a focus on medical imaging equipment.
- Strong expertise in mobile fluoroscopy C-arm systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software issues in medical equipment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for medical devices (e.g., FDA, NEMA).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
