As the Field Superintendent, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects, ensuring that each job site operates smoothly and efficiently. You'll lead by example, working hands-on with your crew while managing all aspects of the construction process. From interpreting blueprints to overseeing daily operations, your expertise will be key to delivering top-notch results that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design.
- Perform high-quality carpentry work, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to maintain seamless project flow.
- Enforce safety standards and protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.
- Mentor and train junior carpenters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on carpentry experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
