About the Job
Healthcare Plus is seeking a full-time Field Supervisor for its Sterling office. This is a hybrid role that includes fieldwork as a caregiver in Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside counties plus administrative duties in our Sterling office. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in the healthcare industry as well as get more involved in office work. General Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or transcripts
- Social Security Card
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and car insurance
- Field Supervisor duties are subject to but not limited to:
- Support the office team by filling in for unexpected call-offs or sick days of field workers.
- Provide one-on-one client care to clients who are unable to look after themselves.
- Applicants must be willing to work in homes with pets, smoking, or cluttered conditions.
- Assists clients with activities of daily living as directed in their Plan of Care.
- Assists clients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household needs, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands.
- Assists clients by providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and diaper changes when needed.
- Assists clients to care for themselves by monitoring the use of a cane, walker, wheelchair, special utensils to eat, and equipment for personal hygiene.
- Monitor on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
- Record the client's activities and changes by making entries in the client tasks report and notifying the supervisor of any unusual conditions.
- Contact the case supervisor immediately of any refused or undelivered service.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for clients by following universal precautions, security procedures, and special instructions.
- Can lift 35 pounds without assistance.
- Adheres to professional standards, home care policies, and procedures, like federal, state, and local requirements.
- Provide client transportation to and from doctor appointments as needed.
- When they don't receive a field assignment, the Field Supervisor would have office duties such as:
- Filing paperwork
- Making calls
- Document notes in the Portal
- Organizing presentation materials
- Other tasks assigned by the Lead Supervisor
