Maximus is seeking a Financial Processing Clerk II position.
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Prepare account reconciliations and various analyses supporting month end/quarter end financials, and help to ensure the integrity of accounting/financial data.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience with government health insurance programs.
- Basic Medicare Knowledge
- Strong ability to communicate complex information."
- Strong attention to detail.
- Responsible for researching and resolving member escalations.
- Ability to follow all department and client policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist with escalated issues processed by Call Centers.
- Accurately process adjustments and/or other financial transactions in accordance with department policies and procedures and MassHealth financial regulations.
- Fully document adjustments and submit to adjustment approver according to the department schedule.
- Complete adjustment requests within a 24-hour turnaround time.
- Perform special projects and tasks on an as needed basis.
- Pay strong attention to detail. - Pay strong attention to detail.
- Call beneficiaries (i.e. for exceptions/cases).
- Verify adjustments and postings.
- Process HJBNKR Exceptions.
- Resolving Lockbox cases.
- Perform tasks with little supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Home Office Requirements:
- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection.

- Private work area and adequate power source.
- Video calls may be requested on occasion. Proper background and attire is required.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience.
- May have training or education in area of specialization.
