Specifically, research at KCVI seeks to improve patient outcomes by achieving earlier diagnosis of disease, more accurate monitoring of its progression, and tailoring therapy to the molecular basis of disease.
Function/Duties of Position:
The Finance & Accounting Analyst, within the central finance team, supports the KCVI team and is responsible for the accurate and timely submission and reporting of financial related materials. This includes both Clinical and Research functions, as well as, actual, budget and forecasting. The Financial Analyst provides global support for all KCVI financial transactions, in addition to reporting and analysis of financial performance. This position also performs financial modeling in support of research, strategic and operational decisions, and provides ad hoc reporting to support both KCVI management and faculty.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- If from a related field, candidate must have 18 hours of accounting courses from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional healthcare and/or relevant financial analysis experience, including analytical database, spreadsheet and/or quantitative analysis
- Knowledge of Oracle accounting system and fund accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
