Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls, and assist with audits as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Experience in venture capital or financial services is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or progress towards CPA is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial modeling and analysis is desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
