The focus is to help our clients enhance the operating effectiveness of the Finance, Accounting and Operations functions by assisting them as they shift their emphasis from manual processing and reporting to more value add and value driven activities coupled with decision support and analytics. As a Senior in Technology Business Analysis, you will be instrumental in connecting business needs with technical solutions. You will play a pivotal role in evaluating business models, eliciting requirements, and ensuring the technical teams deliver solutions that are in perfect harmony with business objectives. **Your key responsibilities** As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch business analysis and system configuration. Your day-to-day will involve: - Understanding and evaluating current state of processes associated with finance management and internal controls including the financial close, end to end intercompany and controls monitoring - Operational process redesign of financial processes - identify process challenges across EYs seven operating model dimensions and collaborate with other practice areas of EY to bring unified solutions to our clients - Implement key components of unified intercompany process solutions including technology and process redesign - Assisting with Finance technology solution design, configuration, testing and deployment (e.g. BlackLine, Oracle ARCS, Trintech, OneStream RCM, Tagetik, etc.) - Aligning and re-defining business processes and identifying additional improvement opportunities to enhance the Finance and Accounting functions - Developing client relationships and project management - Translating complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications - Configuring and implementing solutions that align with business needs - Identifying opportunities for service expansion and contributing to sales through RFP responses - Expect to travel regularly and lead project streams while actively engaging with clients. **Skills and attributes for succes** s To thrive in this role, you should be action-oriented and adept at delivering processes, solutions, and projects. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in supporting the following Finance Management business processes: o Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (OTC) Processes o Financial Statement Close Processes o Accounting Policies and Procedures o Financial Accounting and Reporting Operations/Technology o Performance Management and Measurement (KPIs, business metrics etc.) o Journals processing o Intercompany Processing, Clearing and Settlements o Consolidations and Elimination Processes o Variance/Fluctuation Analysis and Transaction Matching ? 2+ years of system implementation experience (requirements gathering through deployment) in any of the following tools: o BlackLine (Account Reconciliations, Transaction Matching, Variance Analysis, Intercompany Hub etc.) o Trintech (Cadency, ReconNet etc.) o Oracle (ARCS, FCCS, FCM, etc.) o Other tools including OneStream, Frontier, Tagetik, TLM etc. ? Experience in analyzing process challenges and implementing operational process improvement ? Ability to convert technical accounting/organization requirements and current state procedures into improvement opportunities ? Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings, drive work products development and coach and guide junior team members ? Support client proposals, Proof Of Concepts (PoC) developments and RFPs ? The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
