Finance Director - Coast to Coast Auto Group

The Finance Director at Coast to Coast Motors is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financing programs for customers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role will lead the finance team to support the dealership's “Buy Here Pay Here” model, optimize financial performance, and provide strategic insights to senior management. A deep understanding of automotive financing and the ability to work cross-departmentally are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the financial strategies and objectives to support company growth and profitability.
• Manage and improve in-house financing programs, ensuring accessible, customer-friendly options that meet company standards.
• Collaborate with external lenders and banking institutions to maintain beneficial relationships and negotiate financing terms.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and risk analyses to guide decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and high performance.
• Analyze financial data to monitor performance and identify cost-saving opportunities across dealership locations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA is preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial management, with a background in automotive finance or dealership operations being a strong advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and operational teams.
