Our client is currently seeking a Finance Director to join their team.

About the Finance Director Opportunity;

• Strong compensation and benefits: $120,000 to $130,000

Key Functions of the Finance Director role

• Preparation of audit materials and assisting wherever necessary as it relates to the audits
• Budgeting: Play a large part in the development of the annual budget
• Key member of financial strategy and planning
• Developing financial policies and procedures
• Oversight of all accounting functions, financial records and internal controls
• Supervisory responsibilities: This role has one direct report

Preferred Qualifications of the Finance Director

• BS Accounting/Finance or related. MBA/CPA a plus
• Municipality experience is a big plus, but not a requirement
• Ability to present to boards and explain the financials in simple terms
