AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to join the Networking Finance FP&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Networking and broader Infrastructure Finance team supporting key investment decisions, developing controllership around various FP&A processes and support Generative AI investment framework for Networking.

The candidate will be working closely with business finance teams and senior leadership across AWS Infrastructure and will be leading end to end processes around key planning and reporting cycles.
Key job responsibilities
1) Support VP and Director reviews pertaining to key investments across Networking infrastructure for OP and R&O planning cycles
2) Support Generative AI investment framework in Networking Infrastructure and build planning and reporting mechanisms around Gen AI financials
3) Develop and report accurate, actionable, and timely financial and business metrics for monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
4) Work closely with Networking and Central Infrastructure finance teams to own end to end forecasting (short term and long range) for Networking investments
5) With Controllership as the top priority, you identify, resolve, or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues. You improve controls to address financial risk and support efficiency of Networking investments.
6) Create and implement best practices in financial bridging and storytelling to raise the standard of how financial data is communicated
7) Lead process improvements and automation to deliver long-term system-based solutions and collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams to deliver automation that eliminates manual effort
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
