Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
2. Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
4. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and manage the relationship with them.
5. Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
6. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth objectives.
7. Monitor and analyze the company's financial performance and report on financial risks and opportunities.
8. Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree would be a plus.
2. CPA certification is highly preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
4. Prior experience in a Big 4 firm is highly desirable.
5. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
6. Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
