The Finance Manager at Opportunity Village plays a critical role in overseeing the organization's financial health and ensuring its sustainability. This position is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting to support Opportunity Village’s mission of providing services for individuals with disabilities. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with leadership, preparing accurate financial reports and presentations for Board and Committee meetings. They will develop financial strategies to optimize resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. Additionally, the Finance Manager will lead the finance team, oversee financial processes, and implement best practices to maintain strong financial controls and accountability across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
- Lead the creation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Continuously track actual performance against budget and forecast, providing strategic analysis of variances.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity, appropriate resource allocation, and accurate forecasting of future cash requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop clear and concise financial insights for discussion.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute various reports, presentations, and documentation for executive review, board, and committee meetings. Coordinate the collection of data, conduct preliminary analyses, and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Provide accurate data and financial projections to support Board and Committee decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, including US GAAP.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, offering guidance and fostering their professional growth and development.
- Establish and maintain clear standards, goals, and accountability for direct reports to drive performance and achieve departmental objectives.
- Partner with department heads and senior leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to key business initiatives.
- Implement and refine financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Must be able to meet all requirements of OV vehicle policies and travel:
- Between worksite locations
- Within the community
- Support the preparation and submission of IRS Form 990, ensuring compliance with tax requirements.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics for various lines of business, including conducting break-even analyses to support strategic planning.
- May require occasional travel between campuses for meetings and other business needs.
- May be assigned other duties as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position oversees the work of the Senior Financial Analysts.
