Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager for a local non-profit The Finance and Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role will focus heavily on financial responsibilities, including managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and providing data-driven insights for senior leadership. Additionally, this role will support operational functions, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Salary is $70,000 - $75,000 / year with excellent benefits, 100% on-site.

Responsibilities for the Finance and Operations Manager
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling accounts, journal entries, and managing accruals.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital by monitoring receivables, payables, and cash requirements.
- Develop, implement, and optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and support organizational goals.
- Assist with vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to finance and operations.
Requirements for the Finance and Operations Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- 3 plus years experience in finance and operations management including month end closes
