Job Description:


Compass Group is selectively recruiting for a Financial Accounting Internship opportunity within Compass’ corporate offices.





Job Responsibilities:



+ Assist in monthly accounting close process, which includes accounting entries and reconciliations for acquisitions related accounts


+ Assist in purchase accounting for acquired and divested entities


+ Collect, document and track prepared by client (PBC) records for the annual IFRS audit


+ Research accounting standards to answer technical accounting queries






Job Qualifications:



+ Rising Junior or above majoring in Accounting


+ Ability to work independently and possess strong problem solving skills


+ Detail oriented with strong analytical skills


+ Proficiency in Excel a must

Job Summary



As an intern, you will be working closely with Compass Group leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
