Capital Asset Management, Inc. is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our team. We have been serving a very loyal and affluent clientele for over 25 years. We are a fee-only, advisory firm. We do not sell products or receive any referral fees or commissions.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Acting at all times as a fiduciary for all clients served by the firm.
- Understanding and effectively communicating the value of personal advice.
- Meeting with clients individually and as part of a team.
- Preparing and presenting financial plans and investment reviews.
- Developing solutions that help clients meet their short and long-term objectives.
- Working with the Client Service Manager to review plans for accuracy, updating plans, and developing plan narratives.
- Making recommendations to clients in line with the firm’s philosophy and approach.
- Leveraging and managing relationships with external resources to help clients with tax accounting, insurance, estate planning and philanthropy.
- Identifying and cultivating relationships to expand the firm’s client base.
- Educating clients on various planning topics.
- Helping the team develop better internal and external processes to serve clients more effectively and efficiently.
- Remaining knowledgeable on current political and economic events, which could impact domestic and global financial markets.
- Assisting with research and other projects, as assigned.
- Opening and fostering relationships with prospective clients. Although the successful candidate will be paid a competitive salary, based on experience, education and ability, introducing new clients to the firm will be a consideration for on-going advancement.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years work experience in customer service, banking, accounting, bookkeeping, relationship management or financial services.
- A CFP®, CIMA®, CPA, CFA®, ChFC®, or EA designation is preferred, but not required. If you do not have one or more of these designations, the successful candidate will be expected to begin the educational curriculum shortly after the start date.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability and desire to work as part of a team.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and industry-specific software.

Compensation and position title (Financial Adviser, Senior Financial Adviser or Associate Financial Adviser) are negotiable and commensurate with experience.
