Shannon Wiley, Managing Director:
- Time with NM: 20 years in July
- Prior Experience: Started right out of college with a BBA degree. Shannon saw herself at NM, leading a team, with a clear vision.
- Passions: Family over everything! Loves working out at Orange Theory and living clean. Favorite destination is Italy. An avid golfer, started lessons 2 years ago, and enjoys traveling the US.
Rich Wiley:
- Dual Role: Financial Advisor and Growth & Development Director
- Time with NM: 17 years, brother to Shannon Wiley
- Prior Experience: Former client of NM and a Loan Originator in the Mortgage Industry. Chose to pursue a career at NM to stay connected with his community and family roots. Played college baseball.
- Passions: Faith, family, and country. Married to Jill with three boys: David plays college baseball at Wofford, Nick is in freight logistics sales, and Zachary is chasing his biggest Scottie Scheffler dreams through high school golf. A big sports family.
Kerry Jules:
- Role: Financial Representative
- Time with NM: 18 months
- Prior Experience: Started right out of college with a business degree from Life University. Played collegiate soccer. Immigrated from Haiti as a youth, and graduated from Duluth High School in Duluth, GA.
- Passions: Loves coaching and playing soccer. Involved in the Haitian community. Takes salsa lessons in his free time.
About the Financial Advisor Role:
As a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual, you will be part of a team that helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. Your role involves building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
- Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.
- Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients' assets and income.
- Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.
- Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance or business development is beneficial but not required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
