Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive financial aid counseling to prospective and current students, helping them understand available options and the application process.
• Evaluate and process financial aid applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
• Develop and present financial aid workshops and informational sessions to groups of students and their families.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial aid policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve student issues and ensure a smooth financial aid process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial aid counseling or a related area.
• Strong understanding of financial aid regulations and the ability to apply them effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex information.
• Proficiency in financial aid software and Microsoft Office Suite.
