What You'll Do::
Reporting to the Financial Aid Director, your main responsibility will be assisting Arizona College students in all aspects of the financial aid process and to help ensure the school receives financial aid funds in a timely fashion.
The Day-to-Day:
- Counseling students in order to determine their eligibility for Title IV funding, institutional loans, agency assistance, scholarships, and Federal Work Study
- Answering questions and providing continued support to students throughout the financial aid process via a variety of communication methods
- Supporting the success of continuing and new students by helping them understand and overcome personal, social, and behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations
- Responsible for meeting assigned productivity goals

What We Need From You::
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience with data entry elements; financial aid experience preferred, but not required
- Flexibility to work some evenings and/or Saturdays
- A high degree of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
- Effective problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to help those who have questions or seek
- resolutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills to include knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
