About this position
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to join the Investment Management Finance (IM Finance) team. In this role, you will be involved in accounting, finance, and process transformation, supporting the Alternative Investment Partners (AIP) Finance Team. The successful candidate will handle cash receipt review, invoicing, and general ledger management while driving operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities
• Review and identify daily cash receipts across multiple business lines and legal entities, ensuring accurate application to client invoices.
• Ensure the accuracy of cash application and communicate billing and cash-related issues promptly.
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger bookings for trade errors, reclassifications, interest, and other cash account adjustments.
• Seek to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness throughout the billing, cash receipt, and revenue accounting cycle.
• Collaborate with peers, management, and other departments within Finance & Accounting.
• Manage, manipulate, and interpret large volumes of data.
• Assist with quarterly invoicing distribution and conduct quality control reviews.
Job Skills/Requirements
• Required: 1-3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Analytical, technical, and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize conflicting demands, and work independently to achieve accurate results.
• Nice to have: FINRA Series 99 license, experience with Bonaire Report application.
Additional Information
• Hybrid work schedule: Minimum 3 days in office per week.
• Contract duration: 3 months with the potential for extension or conversion.
Pay Range
• Pay Range: $20-22/hour.
