Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and developing forecasts to support the company's decision-making process. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing financial insights that help drive strategic business decisions and improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management review.
- Analyze financial results and trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by collaborating with various departments.
- Monitor financial performance against key metrics, identifying areas of improvement and potential risks.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end financial closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct research and analysis on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor performance to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support on special projects and initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience in a corporate finance environment is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, complex formulas).
- Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience in Agriculture, Manufacturing, or Construction industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
