Position: Financial Analyst
Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Reports to: Director, Financial Reporting & Analytics
Location: Houston, TX

Position Description:
The Financial Analyst will provide fiscal management support to Executive and Senior leadership. Responsibilities include providing assistance with the preparation of financial dashboards; facilitating the use of financial and operational data to better understand and support business operations across the entire continuum of care.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or related field.
- Three (3) years’ experience in budgeting, developing financial and operational dashboards, KPI metrics and/or building analytical models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) plus years’ experience building visualization tools and dashboards for financial metrics and analytical models.
- Financial Analyst Course Work or Certification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work with different software platforms and build financial analytical tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/Access/Power B.I. and familiarity with database concepts.
- Knowledge of GAAP for Not-for-Profit organizations.
- Systems mindset and high level of comfort using technology.
- Ability and interest in collaborating with diverse personalities and levels of financial acumen.
- Ability to understand and build insight from financial data.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential information and high degree of problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.

- Environment: Office-based
- Range of Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Travel: None
