FINANCIAL ANALYST

The Financial Analyst will work in Planning and development and support the Corporate Planning team by preparing long-range forecasting, strategic planning, and other ad hoc analyses. The primary function will be to gather data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and long-term forecasts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with various departments to gather data and update long-range models.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to trends in operational performance and financial metrics to support long-range planning initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and analyses related to long-range planning and other ad hoc initiatives for management and the Board of Directors.
- Work closely with finance management to identify and implement improvements in the planning process and best practices.
- Conduct variance analyses, monitoring actual performance against forecasts and budgets, with summarized findings.
- Provide support to functional groups throughout the organization via ad-hoc reporting and distribution of financial information.
- BBA in finance or accounting.
- 1-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple priorities concurrently.
- Team-player attitude.
