The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Address ad-hoc analysis requests from client management team members
- Calculate and book journal entries
- depletion, depreciation, and amortization
- recurring general and administrative journal entries
- accruals
- Review and analyze accruals/estimates
- Prepare account reconciliations/analysis for balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Assist with accounting research on ad-hoc technical accounting projects
- Assist with documentation for external audit and review procedures
- Participate in special projects
POSITION, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 year of public accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree is required in Accounting, Finance or a similar field
- Have advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
