Responsibilities:Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst II to join our healthcare finance team. In this role, you'll conduct and manage complex financial analysis projects with a focus on physician compensation and healthcare metrics. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's financial strategy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis of physician-related metrics, including monthly statistical reporting and budget variance analysis
- Prepare and oversee physician compensation reports, ensuring accuracy of payments and maintaining detailed records
- Develop and manage practice profit & loss statements, providing strategic insights for financial improvement
- Create detailed pro forma financial statements using advanced modeling techniques
- Handle complex ad-hoc financial analysis requests with sophisticated problem-solving approaches
- Mentor junior financial analysts and contribute to team development
- Support core finance functions including cost accounting, charge master management, and budgeting processes

Qualifications:Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Administration
- Minimum 1 year of Financial Analysis, decision support, or healthcare finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Experience with complex mathematical modeling
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's in Business Administration or Health Administration
- CPA designation
- Strong SQL knowledge and database management experience
