Job Description for Financial Analyst

This role requires a high level of analytical and communication skills plus an understanding of financial modeling. This is an opportunity for someone who is really looking to have ownership over the budgeting/forecasting process for this mid sized high-growth organization.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities

• Manages financial forecasting process
• Manages the budgeting and reporting process during the year
• Works with functional department heads to identify spending plans and how they relate to the budget and forecasting
• Develops and manages the internal forecasting and budgeting models used to run the business
• Generates the monthly and quarterly reporting packages along with the quarterly board deck
• Assists in implementing new best practices around internal processes
• Assess market dynamics and growth opportunities

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years analysis experience managing corporate or divisional budgeting/forecasting process
• Superior knowledge of Excel and financial statement relationships
• Strong business acumen and cross-functional team experience
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills
• Proven ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced environment
