We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic insights to support our company's financial decision-making process. You will work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to help drive the company's financial performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
2. Analyze financial data and create financial reports for decision-making purposes.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine present and future performance.
4. Liaise with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
5. Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop financial plans and ensure they are incorporated into the company's financial plans.
6. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
7. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
8. Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
9. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
10. Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in the real estate industry
3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial planning software.
4. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
5. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
6. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
8. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
9. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
10. Excellent communication and people skills.
11. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
12. CPA is a strong advantage.
