Financial Analyst
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide financial and technical support to Operational and Financial leadership; to gather and consolidate financial data in the budget/forecast process; to review financials and work closely with accounting during month end process; to act as GAAP technical advisor to management; to conduct financial analysis projects; to provide support to upper management; and to assist with consolidation requests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides financial oversight and support on financial results and projects
- Provides financial and technical support to Operational leadership
- Oversee budget/forecast process for specific line of businesses
- Provide strategic guidance and assistance to executive leadership
- Conduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends, variance analysis, and performance indicators
- Lead the loading, validating, and consolidation of monthly close and budget/forecast data
- Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items
- Acts as GAAP technical advisor to management.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of current and new Finance programs, controls, operations, and initiatives; makes recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
- Assists in the evaluation of existing policies and procedures.
- Gathers and consolidates financial data during the budget/forecast process
- Assist with ad hoc projects and consolidations for $830m business
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Master's degree or CPA preferred
Experience
- Four (4) years of accounting and/or FPA experience with preference given to those with experience in both accounting and finance
- SAP experience preferred
- SAP BPC experience preferred

- Thorough knowledge of USA accounting principles, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Hybrid role in Tampa, FL
