This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Markets. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting complex financial analyses and market assessments regarding consumer financial product and service markets to assist in the identification and evaluation of industry trends.
Responsibilities
The following duties are at the Full Performance Level of CN-53:
As a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Lead the analysis and evaluation of financial and operational data for market participants using complex quantitative and qualitative techniques.
- Lead the collection, validation, and transformation of data from a variety of primary public and non-public information sources to develop insight into industry business models including both revenues and cost structures.
- Proactively identify both new techniques and new sources of data for analysis.
- Establish techniques to be used by junior analysts.
- Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
