Financial Auditor - (6+ Month Assignment)
Location : Manhattan, NY 45 ^th /Park Ave (on-site 3 days a week)
Rate: 60-75hr.

We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of audit experience to work on financial, operational, and compliance-type audits.

Need a temp to support the department's completion of its Board-approved Annual Audit Plan. This individual will assist in completing control testing for various audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting audits and reviews including assessing risks; evaluating internal control design and effectiveness; executing audit programs, work plans and performing fieldwork, testing and data analysis.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Prepare work papers and reports consistent with audit plan procedures with a high level of technical accuracy, grammatical accuracy, and structure in adherence to the department's procedures and methodology.
• Provide updates to management on the status of assigned work, including immediate communication of any issues or challenges.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Specific Skill Set:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite. Intermediate-level use of MS Excel.
• Data analytics tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, SQL) are preferred but not required.
