Project Overview
Candidate is responsible for executing daily and/or project-related activities supporting Controller’s group.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Update control or process documentation for the Controller’s team using PowerPoint or excel Track timeliness and take first pass at updating of financial policies and procedures Develop drillable dashboards to track overdue or outstanding items, and follow-up on overdue items. Work with various stakeholders in bringing items current Assist in preparing mid-year and annual financial reports according to the Governmental accounting standards and other applicable regulatory requirements including preparation of supporting schedules Support collaborating with cross-functional teams, to gather and analyze financial and non-financial data for inclusion in external reports Support the accounting team with annual audit requirements and work with external auditors to meet the annual audit completion deadline Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports Perform other duties as assigned within the functional area of accounting/reporting and financial controls
Skills
Strong O365 Microsoft Skills, especially Excel, Tableau or Power BI skills preferred Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects. Demonstrated ability to work in teams and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Certifications
3- 5 years of full-time experience in auditing/accounting with bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
