About the Job
Under the supervision of the CFO, the Financial Coordinator is responsible for supporting all registrations and collections throughout the agency, including our early learning center, before and after school programs, vacation camps, youth recreation programs, summer camp and any other programs that may be run at the SJCC.
This position is responsible for coordinating Youth & Family program enrollment, supporting registration, monthly billing, and accounts receivable reconciliation and collections.
All employees of the Springfield JCC are responsible for creating relationships with the members, to add value to their membership, and to enhance their sense of belonging with the JCC community.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and create a warm, welcoming environment for all children, families/caretakers, and staff.
Work with management to respond to/address needs and concerns of families/caretakers and staff.
Answer telephone calls and emails and respond in a timely manner to inquiries about programs, and the enrollment process.
Process program registrations and communicate with necessary departments/people to ensure positive, smooth customer experience.
Support early childhood, afterschool, and summer camp.
Complete monthly tasks related to voucher subsidy.
Assist in the financial assistance process with the COO, as needed.
Track all program registrants and adhere to monthly billing requirements, and accounts receivable with the support of the CFO.
Perform other job duties, functions, responsibilities as assigned by the CFO.

Strong time management and organizational skills, sound judgment, and exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Integrity for your work and the role within an agency/organization.
Proficiency with technology (computers, software, communication apps) including Google Suite, Accrisoft Freedom, and other programs as needed.
A basic understanding of Jewish culture, values, and traditions and/or the willingness to learn.
An ability to maintain confidentiality of program records and administrative information.
Education/Experience
Bachelor Degree preferred
At least 3 years of administrative support and financial experience that includes registration and accounts receivable.
