Financial Manager

Looking for a Financial Manager to join our team for a full-time position in the National Capital Region to support the Defense Health Agency. This position requires on-site performance in Silver Spring, MD 3 days a week.

A Day in the Life:

• Assist in drafting and developing Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives, Performance Work Statements and Performance-Based SOWs
• Communicate/Interact with Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) on a daily basis, and having knowledge of COR functions
• Monitor and process Procurement Requests
• Support the development of acquisition strategies and plans
• Assist developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
• Assist in preparing and drafting Market Research documentation
• Assist in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Administrative Policies in acquisition support.
• Participate in reporting and analysis activities in support of project management and quarterly review.

When I read the below it sounds like me:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of experience or 14 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated success as a highly organized self-starter, with attention to detail, multitasking various priorities under deadline, and experience in a team environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to undertake new projects and ability to learn new systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to pass a government background check
• Must be a US Citizen
