Role and Team
The Financial Operations Specialist is highly knowledgeable about AMS and Salesforce and strives to provide a seamless experience for all customers. This individual will ensure that our internal and external clients are provided an excellent standard of service and high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. The ideal candidate loves the challenge of solving various issues and appreciates a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential. Successful incumbents will be effective written and oral communicators and able to assist customers throughout the entire online checkout process. Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention.
- Demonstrate friendliness and proper phone/e-mail etiquette with every customer.
- Resolve any customer issues in a friendly and courteous manner
- Support inbound payment inquiries via incoming calls and e-mails from internal and external customers as they interact with the online payment platform.
- Diligently monitor multiple Salesforce queues to address payment exceptions.
- Follow up or initiate outbound calls related to customer payments to ensure customers are notified and issues are resolved timely.
- Work directly with floor plan companies to check availability and submit floor plan packets or payment transmissions on behalf of the auction sites.
- Maintain a good flow of communication with the auction sites regarding payment exceptions.
- Know when to escalate customer payment issues that require next level review or expertise.
- Proactively provide feedback to Supervisors and other stakeholders regarding customer issues or system functionality issues.
- Practice and promote teamwork at all times.
- Bring a positive and contagious attitude to work each day, supporting both co-workers and customers.
- Know and follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable state and federal laws at all times.
Qualifications
- High School or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of office experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Experience with payment processing or accounts receivable preferred
- College education preferred
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
- Experience and proficiency with AMS and Salesforce preferred
- Effective communication skills both written and oral
- Proven track record of excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships and interact with all levels across the organization as well as external stakeholders
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
- Proven track record in showing initiative and ownership
- Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
